The Studio

Crypthouse Studio

We started in a cold rented room with one rule: make the kind of game we kept waiting for someone else to make.

Origin

Crypthouse began in 2023 as a prototype nobody asked for: a slow walk through a graveyard with one lantern and no combat. It should not have worked. It did.

Three years later the walk has become Gravemarch, and the four of us have become a studio. We remain independent, self-funded, and stubborn about scope.

Our mission is simple: build dark fantasy worlds that respect the player's patience and reward their attention.

    Cody "Soulcrypt"

    Founder, Coding and Art Lead

Builds the machinery under the mood: simulation, lighting, and the systems that decide what the land remembers.

    Elizabeth "Soulswife"

    Narrative

Writes the rites, the ledgers and the silences. Keeps the world's grief coherent from the first line to the last.

  • Marshall "Fart Sniffer"

    Art, Coding

Shapes the stone, the fog and the light that makes Gravemarch feel like a place you can catch cold in.

  • Portrait of Nick "Gancrypt", Coding, Game Design, Sound at Crypthouse Studio

    Nick "Gancrypt"

    Coding, Game Design, Sound

Tunes the wind, the tolling bells and the low hum that tells you something is already close.

Values

  • Finish the thing

One title at a time, shipped properly. We would rather be late than hollow.

  • Atmosphere is a system

Mood is not decoration. Light, sound and pace are built as mechanics, not as polish.

  • Small on purpose

Four people means every decision has a name attached. We intend to keep it that way.
